The Scientific Advisory Council of Stop Soldier Suicide is a group of nationally-renowned experts in suicidology and suicide prevention, formed to help SSS advance its mission of reducing military suicide by 40% in the next ten years.
The SAC provides expertise and recommendations regarding best practices, innovative strategies, emergent research, cutting-edge technology and high-risk client acquisition, among other topics.
Among the fields of expertise collectively represented in the current SAC are early intervention, treatment and postvention, active duty and veterans issues, and research, data and analytics.
