Our struggles may be loud or silent; all-consuming or passing; during service or any time after; a moment or a lifetime. That moment of crisis is not the end. It's a crossroads - a turning point. And one that you do not have to navigate alone.
We will be there to meet you.
Whether you’re speaking for yourself, your loved one, or your community feeling the effects of crisis. No matter where you are, you are heard, you are seen.
When you reach out to Stop Soldier Suicide, you’ll be connected with a wellness coordinator who will provide personalized attention, support, and assistance. We respect the value of personal information and handle yours with the utmost care.
Together, we’ll develop a plan to help you navigate the challenges you’re facing and empower you to move forward.
Conduct a 1–on–1 assessment
There isn’t a ‘one-size-fits-all’ solution. What works for one person may not be right for another. Our wellness coordinators work with you to identify your specific needs.
Create a veteran-centered wellness plan
Wellness coordinators work with you to develop a roadmap for effectively identifying next steps and getting back to feeling your life is worth living.
Match you with appropriate tools
Some service members and veterans find that alternative therapies — such as yoga and meditation — help them cope with issues like PTSD, while others may respond better to talk therapy. We identify the right solutions for you. If we don’t have a resource to meet your needs, we’ll do our best to locate one.
Provide follow–up care
Our wellness coordinators track your progress for as long as is needed. We’ll be by your side to ensure you receive the help you need and the support you deserve. We won’t let you go it alone.
